   USS Fort McHenry (LSD-43)

It is that time again. Time to go back to sea. The difference this time around is that we are not going on a ship and go accross the Pacific Ocean again. This time around, we would be TAD (Temporary Assigned Duty) to Japan. There is some hovercrafts assigned in Japan, and we are there to support it and use it. This time around, we stayed on a ship Fort McHenry (LSD-43).

The ship is stationed in Sasebo, Japan, but when we flew over there, they were in Okinawa, so we had to meet them in Okinawa and got on the ship there. Most of the six month, we are at Japan, but we go out once in a while and the Countries we went to this time around, other then Japan is Korea, Hong Kong again, but this time it's after China has taken back Hong Kong, so the flag is different, and China.

We also went accross the equator so we had a Shellback ceremony. You can read all about that on the link above marked WOG.
